From the first whisper of her subtle-but-strong vocal on her new single “Attention,” it’s clear Lena Stone has found her place in pop… Or, perhaps, it’s where she was always meant to be. With an upcoming string of releases, the veteran artist launches into a new space, and while it might be surprising to some, it’s not to Stone. “In so many ways, pop makes more sense for me. I wasn’t raised on country music - I found country music,” Stone explains of her previous tenor in the genre. “Pop has always come so naturally to me. I grew up listening to James Taylor, Sarah Bareilles, John Mayer, Pink, and Britney Spears.”
